  1. i forgot to mention that I have swapped the sat. that was in Front left with others and I found that the scratching noise remained in the front left no matter what sat. was there. So I believe the problem lies in the signal being outputed to that Front left channel.

  3. Hey guys, I have recently been hearing distinct scratching/static noise from only the front left speaker when i try to change the volume level. Was wondering if this can be fixed easily and painlessly. The funny thing is when i don't mess with the volume they sound as good as ever. Please help. Thanks.
  4. I am planning on attempting to directly take the output of a cd player into my promedias (v2 .400 not 4.1 system) via a y-adapter that joins the front and rear inputs that should go into the soundcard. So it would be set up as follows: Cd-player...yadapter...input cables...front speaker...etc.... In theory this should play the cd music without the use of a sound card. If anyone has done this before (successfully or unsuccessfully) please respond, or if this will not work at all(technicans). Thanks.
