Now that you mention it, i think there is a WAF button on my amp, lol

Has anyone here been excited when their spouse mentions they are going out of town to visit family? Yes, i will miss my wife and my 6 month old son. But, i found myself waving goodbye, and then going insided putting on my favorite album, turning it up, and letting my cornwalls breath a little bit. Has anyone else done this?

Also, if you really want to rock out.....keep an eye open for used RF-7's or used KLF-30's.
They come up quite often on the Garage Sale.
I had a pair of KLF-30's, and i thought they were one of the best for rock!

For rock, i prefer them over my cornwalls

I have owned both the KLF 30 and Cornwall I's. Im currently running the Cornwalls. They both sound great listening to jazz, but if i had to choose one, it would be the corns. They sound great with small band jazz.

The Black Crowes "Shake your money maker" lp. Bought it on the "bay" for 30 buck still sealed. I don't have it yet but i can't wait to listen!

I have a similar configured room like dtel's (about 18x10) and they sound great

Yeah, She likes listening music just about as much as i do. The other night i asked her if she wanted to rent a movie and she replied with ,"let's go to the record store". I can't complain. The connection to Sweden is family heritage.

They are hard to compare for two reasons. One, it has been prolly a couple years since i listened to the KLF30s and second, i'm new at this and I really don't know the right termonology to express what i hear. With that being said the 30's are straight up rock and roll speakers. At higher volumes they sounded a little more barbaric than the Cornwalls. In my opinion the cornwalls sound more life like. last night i was listening to a Linda Ronstradt LP and my wife turn to me a said, "it sounds like she is singing right in our living room". But all in all, both sound great. If i had to choose, i would pick the cornwalls.

I just wanted to stop in and say hi to everyone. I am a new member and new owner of a pair of Cornwalls. I grew up listening to KLF30's which should tell you how young i am. I really like the forum site and i'm eager to learn from all of you guys.
