Hi,
My 400 sq ft open room [20x20x9 = 3600 cubic feet] is a combination of a 200 sq ft [1800 cubic feet] dining room and a 200 sq ft living room [where I will be listening to my system]. To put the subwoofer in the corner, the wiring I would be about 60 feet from my receiver [up and down the 9 foot walls, etc]. What kind of wiring would work? Is this worth the hassle or should I just put the subwoofer next to the revceiver? Don't need to rock the walls, but do want quality.
Thanks,
Joe

Hi,
My 3600 cubic foot room contains a dining area of 1800 cubic feet and a living area [my listenting area] of 1800 cubic feet. Since sound is need in only have of the area, do I need to refer to 400 sq feet or 200 sq feet as my room size when determining what size subwoofer? Please advise.
20x20 = 400 sq feet; 3600 cubic feet Total room size
20x10 = 200 sq feet; 1800 cubic feet Dining area
20x10 = 200 sq feet; 1800 cubic feet Living area [listenting area]
Thanks,
Joe

Thanks for the info!
Little confused about what you meant by "watching movies". 90% of the time I will be watching tv [including tv movies], 5% watching Blu-ray DVD movies, and 5% listening to Blu-ray DVD music.
Thanks,
Joe
