I tried the crossover mod and that helped quite a bit, it took the edginess off the horns. What would happen if I tried a different woofer and/or made a new rear cover with a tuned port? Either way is reversible.

Thanks for the help! I'm going to try moving the taps on the autotransformer and see what happens. I also have some 1.0uf PIO caps I can parallel to replace the originals.Has anyone tried the Russian PIO caps in a crossover?

I recently got a pair of Heresy's, in almost mint condition, in the original boxes! Serial # 70S122 and 70S123, HWO finish. They work perfectly except they are very bass weak. I've tried them with a Dyna ST70, Dyna ST35, and the Diytube "get*set*go" amp. All sound about the same. My questions: Is there any updates to the crossover? About what year were these made? I'd really like to have a pair of Cornwalls, but these will do till I can find them!
