  1. Hey guys, First post here, and I'm looking for some help. My setup right now consists of two Klipsch Heresy speakers (HWO, serial# 8442951 and 8442952). I have them hooked up to a Carver "The Receiver" and I'm running some generic 16 guage cable. Unfortunately, my receiver's left channel is completely shot (both speakers work) and there's a pretty audible buzzing sound. I've been able to run them on the right channel (A+, and that sounds pretty good once the speakers get above the hum. So I have two questions really: 1. Is there an easy fix for the receiver or am I out of luck? 2. If I'm out of luck, what sort of new receiver should I be looking for? If I were to go to the store I'd probably purchase a pretty cheap solid state receiver (~$150), but I'm willing to consider more expensive options (tubes, etc.) if you guys think there will be a large enough difference in quality. Thanks! Patrick
