  1. Hello, no hints for me concerning a SET tube amp on Heresy III? Thanks and regards Mira
  2. Hi, the Heresys arrived on Saturday. Great Speakers, I am happy with them. Right now they are running on an SS Amp, but I like to drive them with a SET tube amp. As I am not sure if 2 x 8 watts of a 300B are enough to here the Heresy LOUD, maybe a 805 or 845 could be the better solution. So Any suggestions/experience with a 300B, 2A3, 211, 805, 845 or other Triods are very welcome. Thanks Mira
  3. The curiosity was too big for me, I just ordered a Heresy III. [:$] It's a litte bit risky because I never heard a Heresy, but the reputation is awesome, the characteristics fits into my expectations of vintage sound and closed box design seems to be a better solution for my difficult room. Last but not least the price was so cheap, so I could not resist. I will keep you updated if you like. Thanks
  4. Hello Michael, thanks for your fast reply. I am not sure, if the Cornwall makes too much bass in this small room. The advantage of the Heresy III imho is the closed box design, which maybe helps to prevent the animation of some room modes in deep frequencies. But it is only a idea and I am not sure at all. Is the Cornwall better for short distances between listening position and speaker? Thanks Mira
  5. Hello, I am thinking about buying a Klipsch Heritage speaker for my listening room. The room itself is quite small, only 15 square meter ( 3,90 x 3,80). I want to listen only in stereo setup, listening distance approx. 2,50 - 3,00 meter. Does it make sense to think about a Cornwall III with a tube amp or might be a Heresy III the better choice? Thanks in advance for your answer and greetings from Austria. Mira p.s. 1 Meter ~ 3,28 Feet So room size would be approx. 12,8' x 12,5'
