Hi, I'm new to home theatre systems and I have just bought the above system and I can't get sound. When using the Harmon Kardon EzSet/EQ speaker setup system it stalls at the beginning on 'analysing sound levels' and on the subwoofer. The salesman gave me the wrong size speaker cable so I have hooked up my own which is pretty bad quality and the cable to the right surround has been joined - I'm going to replace all of the speaker cable. I'm just wondering could the join in the cable be causing the problem? or is there likely to be another cause?
