Thanks, I did not plan on contacting the office too soon, I still wanted to use them for a bit longer, but they are beginning to also happen to both of the earpieces too. I was wondering if there was an upgrade in the newer batches, or is it the same stand up wire. thanks again.

if you can't see the wire is ripping away from the protection. question: does my warranty cover the wires? should I go about using it until it falls apart?
