I own the pro media speakers as do most of my computer owning friends. Each one of us has the same problem which leads me to believe that it may be even more wide-spread then just my friends and I. The speakers sound great first of all but when you adjust the volume during the playback of any sound file there is a lot of static. I'm pretty sure it's just because the volume knob connection is "sloppy". Sure would like to know if this is faulty construction or what?
