Hi all, I have a soundblaster Platinum Live card in my computer. I've just bought a Promedia 4.1 speaker set. After connecting everything up I noticed there's no sound output to my front speakers. I made sure all my connections were tight and all the way in. There's two connectors going to my soundcard. One is a green connector, which is for the front and that is plugged into the first output jack of my soundcard. The second connector, which is purple in color is connected to the second output jack of my soundcared (rear). Just to make sure it wasn't a problem with the front output jack of my soundcard I took the purple (rear) connector and plugged to where the green jack was plugged to and I got sound to my rear speakers. I think the problem maybe with my controlling pod unit. Any suggestion would be helpful at this point.
