  1. No marriage proposals thus far....men aren't interested in woman my age...lol Most available men my age are looking for arm candy and I just don't fit that profile. Too independent! I just don't know what to do about the system. Maybe I'll move most of it into the family room witht the surround sound, but definitely getting rid of the speakers....they're monsters!
  2. lol.....just what are you saying exactly???
  3. That is a cable box....lol....verizon. I have several cd players, one is a 400 disc, never really worked well. I also have a 5 cd changer, I think it still works. There is actually another system in the other family room that he had connected to another tv with a dvd player and surround sound. Also plays music outside on the patio with indoor/outdoor klipsch speakers. I just saw that myself, didn't realize they were also klipsch.
  4. Here are some pics, most of the things are as he left them. I disconnected one of the speakers to see the back (that thing is heavy!)
  5. amps? what are amps? lol....no clue here, I'm ignorant in the ways of stereo equipment. My husband was the one who was into all the bells and whistles. Let me know where I can find that info and I'll let you know. Thanks!
  6. I could keep them but they are some BIG speakers and I plan to move to a much smaller place....lol....
  7. Actually, this is the grill to the other speaker, I think I put the same grill up twice.
  8. Here's the top of the other speaker. Both have some damage. Don't know if they can be repaired. (probably)
  9. Shoot, you have to do each pic on a separate reply
  10. Thanks to all for the condolences. Unfortunately now I have stereo equipment that I want to sell that I have no idea as to the value. Here are more pics of the speakers (daytime light)
  11. Hi, the grills are in good condition. We travelled a lot with the military until my husband retired. He always packed these speakers himself in the original boxes. When he retired he finally threw the boxes away. No labels on the backs, sorry, I can see that there use to be some but I haven't a clue as to what happened to them. The location of the speaker is.....you guys will love this.....Florida! lol...sorry, I've been reading on here that a lot of speakers are in Florida. I am just north of Tampa. The tops of both speakers do have some marring, one especially has some fading of the wood. My battery pack on my camera died so as soon as it charges I will take pics of both tops and of the other grill. Thanks for all your input. I am definitely selling these speakers.
  12. I think I may have figured it out! This is the back of one of the speakers. Does the back come off?
