Tested out my Synergy 12 sub today and at high bass volumes it becomes unstable. The sub will be in a corner when i set it up but is there some type of special mat for this problem or just use carpet?

hey thanks for informing me..i will follow these exact steps when i set it up. only about another 2 weeks before i move in and get situated. did you get my question as for as the vibration? is there a specific mat or something for that?

yea the music is jus as important to me as the movies but im sure it will sound good. also, my sub will be on tile..any suggestions what i should put underneath to stop the vibrations?

hey ladies n gents...my name is kyle and i need some opinions/advices for my 5.1 setup! first off, im building my first house and setup is in-walls. I have 2 8" mtx front speakers...5 1/4" center channel and 2 6 1/2" ceiling speakers also a 12" sunergy sub. So my problem is finding a good affordable receiver (preferably from best buy cause i have a friend that works there) that i can get the most kick from my sub! Basically whatever the best bang for the buck...it can be 5.1 or 7.1 and have multi-room capabilities! i was looking at the pioneer vsx 1019...suggestions?comments? Thanks in advance!
