Ha that's what I get for posting with a few in me... You didn't answer my question tho...

Do you guys think the Klipsch KSW 10 sub will be enough forthis system? Vanns has this setup bundled http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/item/features/544999074/klipsch-quintet-sl?s_c=site_search for $550.00 seems like a good price for me needs.

Thank you! I'm guessing 18AWG is all I need for those speakers? I just started t research that. I didn't even know they had so many gauges heh... Edit..From what I can tell 12AWG is the way to go.

Do any of you recommend some good speaker wire and sub wire? I've seen some of the prices on this stuff and it seems to be a bit high? I plan to use monoprice for my HDMI. I just want to make sure I have good wires for the best sound.-
-
Not that I know of. I did find this site.. http://www.thejungles.com/speakerstands.html If you guys the sound will suffer by being too low to the floor I could add 2 of those stands to bring them up a bit.
-
So I have another question. The TV stand I plan to buy is 48in. I am planning to buy a 46in LCD to put on it. I don't think I would have room to put the Quintet fronts on there. Since they are only about 20in high would they not sound right on the floor?

CNET has this rated high and I enjoyed the review so I decided on it. I'm sure the others listed are nice too.
-
hah funny you linked that. I was just looking at the Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K again and settled on that. I like the reviews. I'm thinking to pair that up with the Quintet SL and the 12synergy sub would be my best bang for buck.

I just seen this deal by Best Buy. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Klipsch+and+Yamaha+Home+Theater+Audio+Package+with+630W+7.2-Channel+Receiver/9999117200050003.p?id=pcmprd117300050003&skuId=9999117200050003&childSku=9245426&count=2 Anyone have a similar setup or could provide some insight? I've read some bad reviews about this reciever. Not sure what to think but from what I can tell the Quintet setup may be better than the 5.1 theater system priced around $500 from Klipsch. Edit..To confuse myself more I just notced Vans is selling the Quintet SL 5 channel bundled with a 12 Sub for $699. Which is a better system? The one I linked from Best Buy oe the the setup from Vans? I plan to buy in the next 2 weeks if not soon that's why I am asking. I ruled out a larger system for now.

Thx! I just checked them both out and the Denon seems to be a better buy at this point but I plan to do more research. Anyone have the 5.1 Theater set? I'm wondering how that would sound with this unit. I'm still on the fence about building a system b/c I can't get it all at once. If I do I would probably just get the RF52's and a center untill I could buy more stuff. That would probably be a few months and I wondering what would sound better?? The RF's with a center or the 5.1 theater set?
-
Thx for the reply. I'm still learning about these but is the one you suggested a 7.1? If so, does it even matter? I was looking at the Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K and didn't get it b/c of that...
-
The title says it all guys. What is the best bang for your buck reciever under $500? I am still trying to decide if I am just going to match it up with the Klipsch HD theater 5.1 or start building a set starting with the RF52's. I am attached to another house so doubt I could rock it out all the time.
-
Are any of the smaller sets worth it? Like the cinema 10? I can't decide if I want to stay small witht he speakers. I really doubt I will continue to upgrade after I complete my 5.1
-
Thanks for all the feedback guys. Seems like I can get a pair or F3's for under 500. How are they? Hah I am a noob at this. Thus the word. Not really a nickname, more of a way for me to let the posters know where I am in terms of knowledge.
-
That's a really good question. I'm not sure it's something I will stay interested in. Once i have a 5.1 I would probably chill out. I guess I am trying to figure out what would be better for me. The 5.1 I listed above or those floor standing speakers. What would sound better in my living room, etc...
-
What do you guys think about the F3's for 500? They are suppose to be in great condition and only a few months old. Worth it??
-
What about that reciever? Is it any good? I'm working on trying to get a pair of F-3 Speakers for $500. What do you think of those to start with? Thx for the reply

So I was doing some research and I thought I found a great deal on HD Theater 500 system http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/hd-theater-500-overview/ Paired with an Onkyo 5.1 SR507 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882120131 After finding this site I'm pretty confused. It doesn't sound like you guys even recommend going that way?? I'm a few days into all this so very new and learning as I go. I was trying to keep this under a $1,000. Seems like a lot suggest 2 standing front speakers to start? I'm looking for bang for buck for movies/music/games.
