Talk about the old day's. That's when all Klipsch speakers had a life time warranty!!!

I took mine to best Buy before I went to Klipsch and they wanted $258.00 to fix. You got really lucky. The warranty that came with the speaker says 2 years for amps.

I don,t know if you have a reply yet. I called Klipsch tech support and we worked out a great deal. Send them 60.00 and your bad controler and they will rebuild it and return it. They told me 4 to 6 weeks but I got it back in 10 days.thanx Klipsch for stepping up. Richard

I did send the speaker back thru best buy and that's when they told me $250.00. However they did ship the speaker back and there was no charge. Klipsch responded and is going to set up an amp replacement for $60.00. R.

I checked the warranty and it's 5 for the speaker and 2 for electronics but thanx for the reply. I took it to best buy and they wanted $250 to repair it. I will be calling Klipsch on monday.

I understand from your forum that I can get a replacement amp for my out of warranty sub-10. I have removed the control board from the speaker and would like to replace it. I am pretty disallusioned by the amount of problems theur seem to be with these amps. Klipsch has always had a great rep. and I have been a customer for some time. IE Corner horns x 4 and a pair of KG -4 and now a complete home entertainment system. Maybe a recall or free replacement of these amps are in order. Thanx. Rmac57
