Cool. Did you use any special adapter to connect the speakers? My speakers have two wires (one positive, one negative) that connect to my Klipsch sub, but I do not see those connections on the Sony STR-DH500.

I have some 4.1 Promedia speakers but I am afraid the control pod will bite the dust soon. The sound on the left speaker was gone and I fixed it by wiggling the volume knob, but I do not know how long this "fix" will last. I want to use my Promedia speakers on a Hometheater system, but I do not know which Receiver to use. The speakers are still running very well and I want to save money. Which media receiver can you recommend? Also, how can I connect the speakers to the receiver? This won't answer the first post, but hopefully this might provide an alternative solution.
