  1. The Jupiters should arrive tomorrow and I'll blind test them against the Sonic's and post the results. My mid are K-51's with new diag's from Bob. For the B2 network it came with 2 and 3uf caps. I bought the 2.2 and 3.3's. I'm no expert at all, but it's my understanding that the frequency cut normally for the B2 is 600 and 6000. Due to higher value caps, the roll off should now be around 575 and 5925 or so. From what I've read, the cornscala's still sound primo at 500 and 5800. I plan to keep the original T2A's and inductors as I don't think they go bad.
  2. inside cabinet~. kinda unusal I think, but all drivers ohm out Exactly the same with each other.. K77M's - 6.4 K51V's -10.5 1526C - 3.6 woohoo. [8-)] I'm still undecided on xover setup.Still thinking B2 which is a simple and most effective design IMO; using 3.3uf caps I already bought to drop down the mid freq to 575. Also looking to eventually make custom grille frames with Marshall fabric. .
  3. drivers installed... next to work on xovers.
  4. Thanks Dave~ The quality and sound of your Fastrac horns are outstanding; gave me inspiration along the way. Ron
  5. Thank You~ BTW, the cabs are unfinished raw birch ~ flawless condition ~ with a 30 y.o. patina; so it kicks. I was hesitant at first.. but oh well . . lol Ron
  6. Cabs ready to go. Now to work on the crossovers.> Sonic and Jupiter Vintage caps on a B2 network. Dave's horns, K-77M's + K-51V's + BEC cast frame woofers. Ron
  7. Block sanded and ready for satin black paint.

  9. Block sanded and ready to spray satin black.
  10. HiYaAll, Well for some odd reason the left channel intermittently started sounding funny. After some (research%^&) it was found that the midrange was the culprit. I opened up the corn and found that the internal speaker wire on the black block inner side was loose. go figure.. problem solved! woohoo. ronnie
  11. Does anyone know the crossover freq of the 83 cornwall- B2 network. I'm thinking it might be 600/6000? Thanks~
  12. Should I be concerned about the specs between each woofer? I need the best for the B2 xover. CW1526C cast frame (from BEC).
