Message to Tabbycatt: If you're interested in the Omnimount RB-1 speaker stands for the pro-medias you might want to contact Erikson (they distribute audio products to retailers). I phoned their Quebec office and they referred me to a local (Toronto) music store. I had the music store order the stands for me and I had them in 3 days ($106.90 incl. tax). Just installed the CP-1 and have noticed a definite increase in hiss coming out of all 4 speakers. I realize some hiss is to be expected, but it's worse now that I've installed the CP-1 (from what I'd read I thought the upgrade would actually decrease the hiss that had originally existed). I've tried adjusting the wav/mp3/volume setting on my Soundblaster card but it hasn't helped (currently have the wav/mp3/volume set to 71% with all of the other audio options muted). Has anyone else found this to be a problem ????. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
