  1. I got all my Klipsch speakers hooked up yesterday. Finally got rid of the old Yamaha stuff and did the major upgrade. SF-2 mains SC-1 center SS-1 Rears KSW-12 woofer Sony DE845 receiver Sony S560D DVD Sony CE345 CD Monster woofer cable Fine 12ga. wire Optical inputs All I can say is WOW! This is a nice setup. I was looking for good midrange and these SF-2's got lots. I listened to this subwoofer in a couple of stores and was some what concerned that it would not be enough for my room. Well I was suprised! I have the woofer only at 8 and it blows me away. Very nice crisp bass, not boomy, shakes the entire house. Those concrete rooms at the stores just don't get it. I almost bought Polk Audio speakers. But after hearing the Klipsch I was convinced right off. It's hard to put the way they sound in compairing them to Polks in words. I guess crisper is about all I can say, tighter sounds then Polk. I'm happy!! Steve
  2. Well without being able to hear this particular setup I went for it. Should sound better then my 12 year old Yamaha set up. I just bought all new Sony gear and now this; SF-2 mains SS-1 rears SC-1 center KSW-12 woofer Steve
  3. So, the KSW 12 for the woofer. If it's not big enough I'll sell it and go for the 15". I can't find any of the SF-2's to listen to, so I may just go for it blind. Would you say that the mid range is good on your SF-2's by them selves? That is compaired to the SF-1's? Your about the only one I have talked to about SF-2's so I am trying to get some re-assurance before a place an order. Steve
  4. Hey Jim, Do you think I would get enough base with one KSW12? Steve
  5. This may be a better choice, although I have not listened to this setup. SF-2 mains SC-1 center SS-1 rears KSW-12 woofer What do you think? Ever listen to SF-2's?
  6. I listened to the following system and loved it; SP-1's, SS-1 and SC-1. Can I add a KSW-12 to this system? Is there any problems with wiring it up as I know that the SP-1's have a powered woofer? Maybe I should be looking at different mains? Thanks, Steve
