Thanks for the replies guys. I will keep an eye out on ebay and I will look into the speakers you posted djk. I would still like specs for the k8k woofer, particularly the upper frequency cutoff for them (if that is the right term?). I was looking at woofers at parts express and I seen several different types (up to 2000 or 7000hz. Thanks again! Joe

Hi, I'm looking at replacing a couple woofers in a pair of KG4 speakers for my dad. We tried a refoaming kit but it appears two of the voice coils are shot. Does anyone have specs for the k8k woofers? We can't afford klipsch replacements so I would like to match up woofers from parts express. Any help would be great as I'm a newb to this speaker repair business. Joe
