  1. OK I answered my own question they are or can be Bi-amped like some LaScala just had to install jumpers and they are up and running, now time for a re-CAP.
  2. I have in my hands a pair of KP-3.0 crossovers, does anyone have the schematic or drawings of these crossovers? Aside from the regular outputs there is an added pair of connectors one lead that goes to tweeter positive#8 and squaker negative #6 the other lead goes back to twin 2uF caps. I have woofer output only, was this crossover bi-amped. Would like to tweak these and install in rescued LaScalas. Thanks[*-)]
  3. Trying to bring back to life a pair of LaScala. I have Bob Crites woofers, selinium DX250 drivers mounted on the horns and T35 B tweeters. Picked up a pair of E2 type crossovers in hopes of modifying them to AK or AL2 crossovers. Actually installed all in one box and it doesnt sound too bad stock. Just hoping that with a little Xover modification and tweeking they can be better. want to get all the electronic work out of the way before I refurb the cabinets. Woofer measures 4 ohms tweeter measures 8.5 ohms Squawker measures 7 ohms Thanks in advance![*-)]
  4. Just picked up a pair of 1989 Chorus II's for $80 ea. They are beat physically but sound beautiful. Probably will rebuild cabinets from 13ply Baltic Birch. Question is there any way to determine serial numbers aside from the stickers which are illegible?
