I lost my Iphone (stolen) and I purchased an n900 to replace it. I forgot to check the compatibility w. my s4i. The N900 is configured for 4 pin headphone, so it doesn't just ignore the 4th pin and drop down to a 3 pin like most phones. The N900 is obviously using that 4th pin for something else however, and I get a nasty buzzing sound. I don't mind loosing the mic capability (if I have to...), but can anyone comment on how to get rid of the buzzing?
