welcome to the forum....hard to say where to mount without actually seeing the room,but your surrounds should be to the left and right of seating area slightly behind your ear position facing each other...not behind the seating area...mount them 2-3 ft above head hight when seated or 5-7ft from floor...if you have a good reciever it should have a self setup and will set speaker distance for you....you could allways use speaker stands too and put them near the rear corners of your couch....hope this helps abit...good luck

i have a pair of klipsch f2 towers with a c2 center,i also have a set of ss-1 sorrounds from a earlier set up,does anyone know if these would be ok with f2 and c2 or should i get the s2 surrounds.....the ss-1 are 65hz-20khz with a 2000 crossover and the s2,s are 82hz-23khz with a 2500 crossover ....both sets are 100 watts with a 400 watt peak.The front 3 speakers are a matched set but i was wondering if there was enough difference in the surround sets to be worth putting out another 500 bucks for the s2's....Thanks for any help and ideas
