  1. I myself am looking for best amp! The Mcintosh is great, but tubes cost thousands and id need 2 amps!! That is why i just jumped the reciever i have, the pre out and main ins,to run my Mcintosh solid state along with it!! With my 2 pair of cornwalls! Regards Jim
  2. Also, on my 2 pair of cornwalls, i did redo the wires inside all 4!! I took out the aluminum looking wire, and redid them with monster cable!! More clarity, more efficient than before! This is an easy thing to do, i would consider it! I have redone KG4s KG5.5s, my freinds KG4s, and my cornwalls!! They all seen to have that real thin wiring in them, all the same!! Carefull on the KG series, the tweets will melt if you have the solder gun on the contacts to long!! I also wonder if anyone else has had a problem with the KG 5.5 cabinets falling apart? I had to drive screws through mine, too keep them together!! Thats another reason why i now own 2 pair of cornwalls, i had 2 pair of KG5.5s!! Kinda flushed them out with cornwalls, best thing i did yet!! Regards Jim
  3. I have outdone myself over and over again!! This time real big!! I have 2 pair of cornwalls, in my 250 square foot living room! I liked my fist pair, so much, i bought another! If anyone has, or knows where to get grills for the cornwall, please let me know! I have pair of cain grills, that need a new board, to glue to, or ill just buy 2 different grills, beings my other pair are black grills!! Also, i have a pioneer sx 950, hooked to one pair, and jumped the pre out, main in,inside the reciever, so i can run my mcintosh 2120 on the other pair!! So i have the pioneer sx 950, and the mcintosh 2120 both running these, this is one powerfull son of a gun,i can feel the voice in my bones!! Bet i can be heard, quite a ways too!! The pioneer, and the mcintosh have the same specs, that was hard to believe, only thing is, the mcintosh is only turned to 3/4 volume to match the reciever!! Id like to thank Paul Klipsch, also for my cornwalls,as ive seen people do, i thought that was nice!! Regards Jim
