thank you very much just wanted to hook them up to some power and see what they can do, I run my K-horns and they have no problems to date.

I was thinking it may be tomuch and damage the speakers? thx

I have a pair of forte's I was thinking of running thru my marantz ZR6001 the speakers would be running thru my Rotel RB1080 amp as front speakers. The power on the mrtz is say 95 a channel the RB is 100. is this to much power for the forte's rated at 100w RMS? Thx

cleaning system today noticed I did not have the pre-outs right. OMG what a difference!!!!!!! I am adding two pioneer speakers to the adjoining room today from the add speakers out, I will give you an update Thank you for your help made this system come alive. David

my marantz is running all speakers, the front two 83's are thru the rotel back into the marantz? is that okay. How would I set up the marantz as a pre-amp and the rotel for the amp? Rotel is only two channel. I appreciate your help, thanks

sounds good but I don't think I am getting the full effect the speakers have to offer. would a seprate amp/pre offer greater sound quality?

My sound is good but I think it can improve. I watch concert DVD in 5.1 mode. my system is center RC-64, fronts RF83's, back RF82's, Marantz ZR6001, with a rotel RB 1080 boosting the front 2 83's.60" sony rear proj. SXRD, sony PS3, Infinity BU-2 Sub, Dish VIP 211 HD. Does my 6001 have enough power to drive this sytem properly or should I upgrade to an amp and pre-amp system? Room size 25 x 25. any help would be greatly appreciated, I am lost when it comes to power for speakers and sound quality. I think I have a good start. zappaDAB
