Ok here's my situation. I'm "between" desktop PC's at the moment and living out of a laptop. I plan to have another desktop within the next couple months, but need speakers now. For the money, I'd just soon buy the 4.1 instead of the 2.1, but can I use the 4.1 in the meantime with my laptop running only a 2-channel stereo soundcard? The mini-plug headphone out jack? Can I run only two of the satellite spkrs with the sub just like the 2.1? TIA for any suggestions...jeff
