  1. I haven't heard the SE-OTL but Rosenblit used the knowledge gained with that amp to improve this design; fewer parts, better grounding layout and of course, lots more power. You've got some impressive amps in your listing. Cheers
  2. I enjoy building kits and listening to them a month or so then moving onto my next project. You can find more info on the TS site, he has several unique designs. I'm thinking I may try his 300b amp next. Cheers http://www.transcendentsound.com/Transcendent/Home.html
  3. ~~~~SOLD~~~~ For sale is a Transcendent Sound Mini Beast OTL amp. Not only does it not have an output transformer (OTL) it is a class A, triode singled ended design with very fast transient response (100K HZ bandwidth). The only other similar design is also by TS (1.75W 300b amp). It has a strong 4wpc (or 12w bridged) and can be wired for 220-240V. Driver tubes upgraded to EH 6H30pi gold pins that have been cryo treated, outputs are octal based EL 509s. Amp uses a soft start for long tube life. No tube bias adjustments, calibrations or fine tuning every needed. Unlike other OTL designs, this amp is truly plug and play and is extremely quiet. NO hum. I completed the kit build 6 weeks ago (using the stock high quality parts) and it has 50-60 hours use. Save yourself 30+ hours of assembly time or $4-500 cost to have someone build one. Amp works perfectly, no snaps, crackles, pops or other noises. No problems or issues to sort out. I have $1200 in it but will take a bit less. This amp is PERFECT for Klipsch speakers. SF bay area pick up or can ship. PRICE REDUCED $1050 Thanks for looking.
  4. SOLD Botthehead Stereomour Class A, single ended triode amp with 3 input selector, volume control and on/off switch for a functional and clean look in a compact 11" X 13" base (10 coats of hand rubbed poly). It's 2 months old with about 100 hours use and puts out 3.5W. A great match for Klipsch speakers. These don't come up for sale very often so don't miss this opportunity to get an assembled, burned in one for the price of the kit. Save yourself 25-30 hours work. They respond to tube upgrades with siginificant performance improvements. Price of $950 includes the optional output impedance switching option ($70). More information at http://bottlehead.com/?product=stereomour-stereo-single-ended-2a345-integrated-amplifier-kit SF Bay Area pickup only.
