  1. Have you bought this receiver yet? I am interested in the same receiver but have to wait a while to get it (unless i see a great price on it of course). This receiver is really the best choice you could get for your speakers. If you ever upgraded the receiver has preouts and you could attach a power amp to drive your fronts. If you purchase this receiver tell me how you like it.

  2. I have a used rc-62 on the way. I upgraded from a rc-52, i am looking forward to that noticeable difference even with my older receiver. I paid $300 for the rc-62 it really wasnt a good price but i sold my 52 for $220 so $80 to upgrade was a no brainer for my rf-82s. Anyways, the way i see it if i ever find a rc-64 for $500 or less i will probably buy it and sell the rc-62 hopefully for around the price i paid for it. Okay do you see the moral of my post? " If i ever find a rc-64 for $500 or less i will probably buy it". What did you end up doing OP?

  3. I transported my rf-82s horizontally short side up in cold weather for a half hour drive. They arrived in perfect condition. I would reccomend tall side up after hearing these comments but it should not make too much of a difference unless it is a long bumpy ride

  4. Well i got a guy shipping me out a used rc-62 in mint shape. I sold my rc-52 :). Lol get this, the rc-62 cost more than my two mint rf-82s. Hmm if only i could have been satisfied without a nice center. I will post pics in show your home theater thread once i get it. A 64 would have fit my tv stand so nice if only i could have found one for $450...

  5. Okay well it is on ebay now. I am not really going to be able to upgrade my receiver for a while now since i am guessing it is going to cost me around $180 to upgrade to the rc-62 from the 52 *sigh. Anyone comments on how older receivers like the one i am using compare to say a onkyo tx-sr607

  6. Also, i am interested in getting a new receiver and can pretty much work it into my budget right now. I have a onkyo dr-c500 receiver from like 2003, it works great and sounds good, it is like 100wpc. Anyways will i notice a difference on blu-ray sound if i am to upgrade to a newer receiver? I am looking at getting something one step up from the lowest models, so something with preouts hopefully and a little more power, pioneer 1019?

  7. Thank you. It is my budget HT as i am still in college. Okay someone has to help me out with this rc-52 thing, do the two rubber feet in the middle unscrew or something? I dont want to force them and maybe break them. Anyone with a center with an adjustable leg can probably help me

  8. I believe the pic is now posted. What do you guys think

By the way i am still totally stumped on how to raise my rc-52 on a tilt to aim upwards. On the bottom there are no holes i can see to screw into, there are 6 little rubber legs and the bolt i have is longer but does have a ruber tip and has a nut on it
  9. I would love those rs-52s but i really dont have the cash for them right now. The only money i have left i would like to buy a new receiver when i find the right one. I really want to upgrade to the rc-62 but do not know if it is worth the small amount of money i have left for HT. Also what do you guys think would have been a good deal for the 3 klipsch speakers i have here?

  10. Well i found a pair of rf-82s with a rc-52 on craigslist for a good deal. Checked them out and they were in absolutely mint shape so i went ahead and picked them up. I can already tell the rc-52 is a little underpowered compared to the rf-82s. Anyways is there any stands that will angle the rc-52 to project sound at an upward angle? It is on a lower shelf on a tv stand. There is a screw that came in this bag of things the guy gave me and i think he said you can use it to angle the center up but i do not see how that works.
