I bought the corner horns in 1974 I(I believe) in Calif. They are type: XCBR serial # 8P409 does that help? Didn't mean to post in the wrong section-where is the appropriate place? thanks, david

I have a pair of cornerhorns which I have loved for some 30 years, (which because I am moving, I will soon have to sell). A dealer once told me that older speakers like mine are particularly desirable because the iron ore used for their magnets was particularly high quality. Is there any truth to this, or was he just feeding me a line? david
