  1. Anyone remember "quadraphonics" from the 70's? I've got lots of great pink floyd LPs (sounded so much better in surround than on a stereo CD player today) amung others that were encoded in quad surround sound, which was the grand-daddy of modern 5.1 surround sound like DTS. I've got a great old record player that I also play some CD's through with the AUX in, but I was looking for a speaker system to use for the QUAD setting, and the promedias seem to be the way to go! The only problem is, the LPs need to be decoded, just like modern DVD's and such. But Pro-logic or Dolby Digital decoders of today will not work, you need a quadraphonic decoder. Does anyone know of any that would work for me or where one could be found? Thanks.
