  1. Save $100 from Guitar Center!
  2. If you want big, budget power without any fan noise, this Crown XLS1500 DriveCore amp will put 525wpc in a 4ohm load and can even drive a 4ohm load bridged. This Harman DriveCore class D technology is the same used in new Lexicon amps, and it sounds great with my Jamo theater speakers! The amp has about 100 hours on it, and will be shipped in original box with all original packing and manual, and I'm asking $300 plus actual shipping. Thanks for looking!

    Spam

I got a PM yesterday morning as well, but good thing for him, I'm a prince from Ethiopia and need his help to deposit $10M.
  4. Bump for the best quality biwire cables you'll get for the money!
  5. No USB, sorry. It's SPDIF in with optical or digital coax, and stereo RCA out.
  6. This pair of Transparent Cables biwire MusicWave speaker cables is 8ft long with banana's on all ends and nicely flexible for routing. Not much to say about these except they are a BIG step up from standard copper wire, and factory biwire is not a common option. $160 plus shipping and paypal
  7. Any interest in this? Lower the price or shelve it all together? It's a neat little, brand-new unit that I just don't have a need for...

    Netflix Audio

Well I figured out something last night; my BDP was default set to down-mix Dolby to PCM. Once I fixed that, my AVR202 could see the Dolby over SPDIF, and down-mix it to stereo internally. Thanks for the help and it sounds great!

    Netflix Audio

Thank you for the help. Has anyone else had a similar issue with Netflix?
  10. I'm having audio trouble when I use Netflix streaming with the SPDIF output. Last night I switched from a Blu-ray (my regular viewing choice) to Netflix and had no audio. I ran the analog outputs from the BDP and the sound was normal, and I put on a DVD which has normal sound through the SPDIF or analog outputs; same with a redbook audio CD. I even got a cheap receiver out of the garage and plugged that it, and it had the same outcome. What audio format does Netflix stream it's movies, if my receiver will only decode discs for movies? I look at my Netflix account today, but couldn't find anything about audio codex or options there in. Does it make a difference that I'm only watching movies in 2.1? Thank you for any help you can provide, as the receiver does a much better job decoding the DVD/Blu-rays than the BDP, so I assumed the same for streaming movies. The system in question: B&K AVR202 receiver Jamo D7LCR left/right speakers Elemental Designs A3-300 subwoofer Sony BDP
  11. This is a great device to add analog stereo output to a TV/Blu-ray player that doesn't have it, or improve the analog stereo down-mix for movie playback!
  12. I bought this to get rid of a ground loop caused by my TV, but I fixed the problem a different way, so I never actually installed this converter. It takes the digital 5.1 signal out of your player, and converts it to stereo analog audio for use with a stereo receiver or similar system without HDMI. I watched Quantum of Solace with this to test it and A/B'ed back and for between it and the stereo analog outputs on my BDP. The FiiO D07k was a little more dynamic and offered a little wider sound-stage; a nice little piece of equipment! Comes with everything (essentially) unused in the box including the decoder itself, power supply, and warranty card. $50 shipped and paypal'ed
  13. These great, cheap headphones are like new, original box and detachable cable included, but I just don't use them like I thought I would. They sound more like speakers than other headphones which makes them very easy to listen to, and they have plenty of bass for all musical types. They obviously don't complete with serious headphones, and the styling is a little hip for me, but sometimes you just want a cheap pair of headphones that are easy to listen to! They sound great with my iPhone, but also with a separate portable amp; also available in the box if you're interested. $40 plus shipping for original and barely used everything
  14. Locking silver-plated RCA connectors: Luminous Audio is proud to introduce an affordable "locking" style RCA connector of very high quality with heavy silver plating. Each plug is made of a very inferior quality brass which is mixed with many other metals and impurities with poor conductivity on purpose. This allows the signal flow to remain primarily in the heavy silver plating preserving the integrity of your music. The plug can be used with a 6mm or smaller cable with the addition of a heat shrink boot but is designed to work with a cable of 8mm OD. Soldering of the return lead or shield should be done in the lower section of the plug away from the center pin if possible. The plug should be inserted into a jack in a loose position and then "tightened" by simply turning the outer barrel counter-clockwise with respect to the rear of the plug. Happy listening!
  15. These are my favorite RCA plugs by far and I'm building my new (shorter) cables with them as well!
