I have a set of 2.1 ProMedia speakers that I am using on my computer. I bought these speakers about 4 years ago, not sure that matters. The specs say that the sub is only good for 120V 60Hz. Not a problem right now but I am moving overseas soon and that power there is 220V 50Hz. I have a step down transformer that I can use to drop the voltage down to 120V but I of course can not changet he duty cycle. Well what I am wondering is will they work overseas with the 50Hz duty cycle or will it destroy the sub? Thanks in advance for any replys.
