Crash

I tried using winblows media player and the sound disapeared. Then I used winamp, same song and volume and the sound returned.

I'm having the same problem. It sounds more like "PSST" as in trying to get someones attention. Very annoying to say the least. It coud be a winamp problem, I'm going to try and use another player and see what happens.

Ditto! No sound from rears when wathing dvd's. I had no problems with my Cambridge four pointers. Sure would like to figure this out!

Come to think of it when I was using my Mx300 sound came out from all 4 sats. I sent my mx300 in for warranty repair and they sent me an upgrade to the mx400. What sound card are you using? I emailed Sigma designs about this problem,still waiting for a response.

I'm having a problem getting sound from the rear sats when watching dvd's. I'm using a monster mx400 sound card. 4 speaker mode enabled. I'm also running a hollywoood plus card with surround enabled. When I play music all speakers work correctly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
