  1. Hi everyone, I am looking at a pair of KS-7800-THX for surrounds and rears for a home theater setup. In the specifications for KS-7800-THX, it says that a 12 wire gauge is accomodated. I believe our builder used a 16-gauge wire to wire our home. Will this cause any problems with this speaker? Has anyone run this speaker using a 16-gauge wire? Any help is deeply appreciated!
  2. Thank you for the reply Youthman! I noticed in your pictures that you went for the cherry finish. Any particular reason why you picked this color v/s dark ash? Your HT looks awesome!
  3. Thank you for the reply Yura! I appreciate your insight.
  4. Hello everyone, I am in the process of setting up my HT and was looking for some suggestions. My media room is 17X18 with an 8 foot ceiling. It is pre-wired for 7.1 surround sound. I was looking at getting: 1. 2 RF-83 front towers 2. 4 RS-62 surrounds 3. 1 RC-64 center channel 4. Sunfire HRS-12 1000 W Subwoofer 5. Powering this with either an Emotiva UPA-7 & UMC-1 combo or a Pioneer Elite SC-37 (still deciding between them) My questions: 1. Is this system an overkill? Should I go to the RF-82 or RF-62 for the front towers for this size of a room? 2. One dealer is trying to steer me towards the Dali IKON MK2 front towers with the VOKAL 2 for the center channel. The other dealer is trying to steer me towards the B&W 603s. Their argument essentially is that these speakers are much superior to the RF-83 and more high performance. They also indicate that with the Klipsch, I would have hearing fatigue. Is this true? Has anyone experienced this with their RF-83s? 3. One even suggests Jamo C809 as an alternative to the RF-83s. Any experiences with the Jamo C809? I appreciate your replies. Thanks in advance!
