Bob, Thanks but other headphones do work ok. The others did not have integrated mike and controls though. I agree that Nokia would like to sell Nokia headphones but they have published the specs of their jack. By the way are you sure about what you say? When I insert the S2m plug into my Nokia 5310, a message appears: "Enhancement not supported" and it totally ignores the headphone and uses the speaker instead. The Klipsch FAQ says: "Does the Image S2m work with all cell phones? The Image S2m is compatible with virtually all phones that have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Consult your cell phone owners manual for compatibility." The Nokia has a 3.5 mm jack. Nokia is one of the largest (maybe the largest) cellphone manufacturers in the world. I called Klipsch technical support and they were unhelpful. Further research indicates that this is a known problem with the Klipsch headphone. I attach a copy of the Nokia 3.5 mm AV jack specification. Evidently the Klipsch headphone is failing the tests outlined in it. Can anything be done about this?
