Ok, so here is the deal, i went out yesterday and bought myself some 4.1's. At first the rear speakers would not work, so I installed LiveWare!3.0 and it royally ****ed up my computer. SO here is my question, is there any way to get 4 speaker output without LiveWare? All i have is the creative base drivers. Please help. Oh, and in like two weeks, im gonna buy a GameTheaterXP. I just kinda wanted to have it working before that. So then i can throw my SB Live out the window :] ------------------ _ _____________________ _ Splurgy Studios

Um, i just got some new Klipsch's and I was wondering exactly how to set the mixer to 4 speakers on my Soundblaster Live! Value. I do not have LiveWare! installed. Is this a problem? Do i neet to install it? ------------------ _ _____________________ _ Splurgy Studios

Hello, this is my first post, and I was just looking for some advice on what kind of system I should get. I currently am running on a SoundBlaster Live Value and some Aura speakers. Definately room for improvement here. My forerunning question is whether or not I should ditch the SBLive and get myself a Hercules Game Theater XP. It seems to be a much better option, as there are huge compatibility issues with my SB Live, win2k, and my VIA chipset. Then should I go with the 4.2's or the 5.1's. I dont have too much money. Mainly I am trying to get great sound coming out of my computer, but I dont think it has to be too extravagent. Mostly playing games and watching DivX movies and DVD's.
