  1. I was in the United States in June 2010 and bought a Klipsch Image S4 from a Best Buy. I've been putting them to sparing-to-moderate use. Around 25-40 hours so far. I noticed around two weeks back that the strain relief on the left earbud showed signs of splitting. Since then, it has only increased, and a very slight tear is starting to form on the right earbud's relief strain too. Since I've returned with the earphones to India, I don't think it will be practical for me to send them for replacement, even if this gets covered by the warranty. I'd like to know if there are any other ways that I can fix this. I'm afraid that using Fevikwik (a local brand of super glue) will make the strain relief brittle, and that while in the short run it might prove to be a fix, it will be harmful in the long run. Are those fears unjustified? Is there anything else that I can do to patch this up? TIA. ~milesmonk
