  1. So my current system consists of: Denon AVR-4308 Klipsch RF-83 Klipsch RC-7 Klipsch RS-7 (just bought--want to use as surrounds and use speakers below as surrounds-b or in another room) Definitive Technology BP2002 (used as surrounds) Sound Dynamics (I believe thats the brand; minor brand freeze, early 90's towers, made in CA?) (used as the 6th and 7th channel rears) Klipsch RT10-D (placed in back of room) Everything sounds pretty good together. Only problem is I'm not too sure where/how to position/place the Klipsch RS-7. Should they be ear level, and if so, what part of the speaker should be "level"/in-line with my ear? (For example, the cone, or the tweeters on each side). Also, I've read and understanding some of the "science" behind the logic, that the side speakers should sometimes be placed 6ft or so in the air, or closest to the ceilings. If thats the case, should they be tilted toward the listener, or perfectly in line with the ceiling. They can't be ear level in my current setup because if they are ear level they'll be on the wall/in a doorway entrance with how everything is setup. currently I'm using towers as my side/surround speakers and it works great but I figured the RS-7's would look awesome (gold cones) with everything else. Any ideas let me know!
