  1. After I format my computer and reinstall my Window XP, my Sound Blaster Live Value start to make popping sound once a while. Well I use XP before and I have no problem what so ever. Popping sound started after I reinstall my XP, in the middle of installation, my fingers somehow touch the mini plug of 4.1 (mini plug that plug into soundcard). It made a strange and loud noise for 1 secs. Anyhow, I guess there is some problem with my soundblaster driver. However, do you think it is more a driver problem instead of the preamp? And how can I check if this is my preamp or driver problem?
  2. Hi everyone, I have recently realized that my XP Profession emit a short echo whenever I stop my MP3 or after using Window Media Player. I've checked all my Creative Mixer and Window sound mixer, they are all normal and have none of the special effect turned on. I am currently using a Sound Blaster Live Value card (4 channels). I just wonder if anyone have the same problem and know how to solve it? Thanks.
  3. I heard this loud poping sound when I was typing in the computer, I've heard any new poping sound since last time, WERID. Guess it dues to interference from other appliances
  4. Hi guys, something weird just happened. I've just heard a sound (BLAK)( sounds like exploded ballon). I am not sure whether this sound is come from my 4.1 or other appliances (I've check everything, I find no problem so far ). Have you guys ever heard some strange sound like the one I describe emitted from your 4.1???
  5. Hi I've just got my powerDvd xp yesterday. When I try to play VCD in dolby pro logic mode ( I have choose 4 speaker mode), and the audio coming out from the speaker is reversed, what I mean is that what should comes from left speaker is now comeing from right speaker instead. The audio positioning of front and back seems ok.. the only thing is that left and right audio switch to opposite direction. I just wonder whats going on here. I've check my Surround sound mixer in my SB live value (4 speakers) and so to my speaker everythings look fine. So does anybody know how to fix this problem? Thanks
  6. Hi, I just wonder how you guys set ur preamp inside ur computer (eg Winamp)? I want to know which frequency (60-16K) represent Mid range sound, so that I can change it and make my pro sounds better thanks.
  7. Change your Soundcard setting to Listen MP3/Audio, you can do it easily in Creative Mixer.
  8. well what you need to do is set your environment setting in your sound blaster to MP3/Listen Audio, then everything will be just fine...music will come out from all 4 speakers.
  9. I go to Local radio shack once, they contain a Din wire but it only has female on both ends. My problem is to find a male and female wire or a female to male adapter.
  10. Anyone know where can I find an extention Din wire for my 4.1? I want one end male and the other end female thanks.
  11. Hi, I have 4.1 and which it sounds great. But when I put my Subwoofer under my Corner desk, the bass sound SUCKS. It was distort and blurry, guess it is due to the vibration of my desk. But when I want to put my speaker away from my desk, I find a problem. Which is the speaker cable connected from Main Speaker to Subwoofer cable is WAY TOO short (the cable that connect from Main speaker, which have a 3/4 inch plug) Does any one know where I can find a extended cable to lengthen it or do you have any suggestion that can lower the Distortion/vibration create by my Desk?
  12. I saw those speaker stands in Local (Vancouver, Richmond) Ikea store.
  13. First thanks for you suggestion. So what you mean is if I want to hear accurate bass I need to put my subwoofer on a open space (not under anything?) and out from any corner.
  14. I put my subwoofer 1 feet aways from my feet (under my desk), and I think the bass of 4.1 become so blur and boomy ( I set my window setting as what klipsch said, and my speaker main :50%, Bass:33%). Do you think I am too close to my subwoofer which cause all the distortion?
