  1. ok, i'd love to say i knew what i was talking about, but the fact is i have no idea..i'm going to list my components that i bought and try to explain my problem i am having...i have the entire reference series, rc3's, rs3's, and the rf3's with a ksw 12 sub.. i have a denon 3801 reciever, i'm using a monster cable going from the sub into the reciever...monster speaker wire to all the speakers... i also have the promedia 4.1's for my pc...now here is my problem... i am almost possitive i've set up my speakers correctly, all the settings, i've messed with a bunch of different configurations as well..and let me tell you, i feel i am getting much more bass from my promedia's... the promedias feel like they are filling the room out and are delivering much more powerful bass that feels like it is going right through me...the ksw 12 feels like all the bass is going into the floor and is below me..i have both sets in my room, its a relatively small room, nothing big...i've placed the same music cd's in both my main system and my promedia's and the promedia's seem to deliver much higher high's and more bass then i am getting from my main...this just doesn't seem right considering i spent over $3000 for my speaker setup and 250 for my promedia's.. when i am playing a movie i can definetly tell a differnce between the two...the main speakers definetly seem to produce more distinct sounds...just doesn't seem as high and the bass seems a bit week for 440 watts... just wondering if anybody had a similar problem, or might know what my problem is...i appreciate any help you can give.. just remember, i really know nothing about systems, i am trying to learn...so be a little careful about the terminology, i might not know what your talking about
