Well I am still finding myself very interested in this deal, as far as $280 goes how does this sub stand up. The subs I am currently using are crap. The majority of the reviews I can find state that this thing is a beast... but who knows what there comparing it to, I just dont want to buy it and find that Im wanting to upgrade in the near future.

Well thank you, thats good to know because I've never actually heard a Klipsch subwoofer before. I was looking into some SVS tubes but just cannot push myself to spend that much money at the moment. Does anyone have any idea what it would cost to make a good DIY sub?

Hey all, I am looking at picking up a used Klipsch RW-12 for $250.00, Im pretty confident that this is a good deal but would like some personal input on this sub and what your thoughts are with this sub. My current setup is Klipsch Rf-82's Klipsch RC-62 Klipsch KG 5.5 PA HD10 150 watt subwoofer PSB Alpha Subsonic 5 ( I will be replacing one of the subs with the one I had mentioned) Thanks in advnace.

Appreciate the input everybody, made the decision much easier, I am demoing them in my house on Sunday... Im sure I will buy them as they have to be better than the F-1's Im currently running.

Don't know if this makes any difference but I am using an optical cable for sound on my PS3 and it sounds great.... maybe something to look into? I had the same issue with the HDMI

Hey all, this is my first post on this forum and I would greatly appreciate any input. My Current system is. Fronts: Rf-82's Center: RC-52 Rears: F-1's Amp: Yamaha 6130B 2 10" subs I am currently looking at a pair of KG 5.5's used to replace my rear speakers. I am unable to find very little information when it comes to true reviews on the speakers as they are gettin up there in age. The ones I am looking at seem to be in great shape. I have yet to be able to audition them. However, I have looked at the specs on the website and tehy do seem to be a decent speaker. Was wondering if anyone on here could tell me how these speakers would fit in with my system, as well as what level of speaker they were considered back in the day and any pro's and con's regarding them. Thanks, I appreciate it.
