Hello all, I'm very new at this so no fair laughing I'm building a starter system on a lowwww budget, based around a technics 100w x5 receiver. However the main purpose is 2-4 channel stereo, not theater etc. After searching the retailers for my first "good" speakers, JBL,Yamaha,bose, etc. I fell for a pair of SB3's, they blew the others away! But they were out of the budget at this store. I have been in the hunt for 6 weeks and have found my SB3's for $339. New KSB 3.1's for $180. and now new klf 10, 20, & 30's for $299., 399., & 499. plus $100 shipping. All are new pairs w/original warranty. The 30's are probably out of budget. My question is.. Will the 3.1's give me close to the sound of the SB3's and save a bunch of dough. Or are the KLF 10 & 20's just too hot a price to pass up and are going to sound way better? (I would prefere bookshelf size but the sound is the goal) Any advice is appreciated! This is my first real system in ages.. Thanks! Chris.
