So I have a chance to buy an old school pioneer sx 424. It is beautiful, kinda looks like a marantz with the beautiful blue hue gleaming out at ya. Only pushing 15 "old school" watts. But can't find much more about it. Gonna pair it with some KG's or some old school Sansui AS 200 3 ways. The guy wants $130 for the receiver and the Sansui's. Let me know what you think of the deal? May end up flipping it for a profit if I don't love it too. Also, anyone have experience with the speaker connections on the receiver? Heard they are annoying and tricky. Condition is mint on both! I recently had the chance to buy a package off Craigslist after searching for a reasonable deal on some KG's. It included a pair of KG 2.5's, a pair of KG 3.5's, and a KV3 center channel. The center channel and the 2.5's sound great but the 3.5's seem to be lacking the bass I thought they would have. ?? I am running them to a yamaha htr 5760 receiver. I have done some research and think I may need a different receiver for music. The reviews say the receiver is great for movies and theater sound, too bright for music though. Should I buy a sub to pair or maybe sell the 3.5's for some 5.5's or heresy's? Any advice will be taken thankfully. Ryan in Chicago
