  1. Figured it out- Looks like in my receiver, the amp the SW was set to -12 db based on the auto setup I used with my old set of speakers. As soon as I set it to 0 db, the thing really shakes the room. If i set it on +12 db it gets a little boomy, but WOW it gets loud. Thanks guys! Should I bi-amp or bi-wire the RF-82s? I've heard when you do it with just a receiver and not an external amp, you don't get much out of it. Thoughts?
  2. Hello All, I am new to the Klipsch forums, but not new to the products. I am setting up my new (to me) system and piecing everything together and need some advice on setting everything up. I am running a Pioneer VSX-1120k as my receiver and using RF-82's up front, RC-62 for my center, RS-42's as the rears and RSW-10d as my sub. I've got everything hooked up and it sounds pretty good and balanced, but not sure how to fine tweak everything. Most music sounds pretty solid, but hip hop seems to lack that "low" bass, which I expected from the RF-82s and the RSW-10d. What should I set my lowpass, crossover, speaker size in my amp, use bi amping/bi wiring, etc. etc? I just want to make sure I am using everything to its fullest potential! Thanks guys! Jeff
