  1. Thanks, what is the best way to open up the sub and remove the amp? Also, I'm wondering, the old satellites still work fine so could it still be an amp issue if the old ones still work? Are there different versions of these speakers (I know there are different versions of the sub/amp but not sure about the satellite) and maybe hooking up the new satellites to an old sub could be the problem? Or could it possibly be the control pod?
  2. Hi, I have a set of Promedia 2.1 with the old sub, pictured below as an example: They sounded fine, but one of the satellite speakers was cracked so I decided get a new set of satellites. After receiveing the new set, I hooked them up but noticed that sound was only coming out of one satellite. I flipped around the wiring to see what would happen, and this time the other satellite only had sound coming out of it. So it doesn't seem like it was the speaker that was the problem. Reading similar issues on this board where the problem was a fuse or something in the sub/amp, I am wondering if that's the case with me considering my old satellites still work fine when hooked up to the same sub/amp.
