  1. I agree, I would never pay more then cost +10%
  2. I must be blind, I only see them listed for $3198 for the pair. http://www.acousticsounddesign.com/core/view_BigProduct.cfm?pid=1833&sc=57 Ahh, you must be talking about the Bgrade, that are only offered in the off colored cherry. So thats the catch, you are forced to buy that color.
  3. I'm not calling anyone out...lol...I'm just asking to see links to the stores people are buying them at. I can't find your post showing where you can buy them at for $2500 all inclusive. ?
  4. I posted a link showing the prices anyone can buy them at. Right here ---------------->>> http://www.radiocrafts.ca/klipsch.html Anyone else going to post a link to these prices you are quoting, or is this just air? LOL
  5. Go here for the best prices I've seen on the net for Klipsch speakers. http://www.radiocrafts.ca/klipsch.html
  6. Wow, you guys paid a lot. I can show you a place that sells a pair of RF7-II's for $2470 a pair, and the RF82-II's for $1037 a pair.
  7. For some reason this site cuts off a portion of the photo, they are 1000pixels wide, looks like this site only allows 800? Come on guys, this is 2011, doesn't everyone have at least a 24" monitor?
  8. Thanks, I'll have better pics once I'm in the house, these were just hand held photos with no tripod, so the ISO is bumped way up and the white balance isn't perfect. The walls are a light grey, and the (accent/theater) wall is a dark grey, we kept this theme through out the home.
  9. Haha, I'm taking two weeks off after possession, so I will have a lot of time dedicated to setting things up.
  10. A little progress. All the plates are on, I take possession July 29th.
  11. I have a website if you wanna see my work. www.bradstaylor.com
  12. I'm guessing by the 50D comment you were responding to the pics of my gear? I'm thinking it's time to step up to the 7D
  13. I'm still waiting for my house to be completed before I can use mine. []
  14. I'm not a fan of projectors, but I did wire for it just in case. I will be running the new LG 60PZ750 plasma. I'm not doing a traditional theater room. Instead I purchased two 3 seater wispa recliners (contemporary). See here. http://www.revolvefurnishings.com/products/wispa-recliner-sofa-hcgnj.html Shown is only the two seater. The in ceilings will be about 3 feet behind the sitting position and about 5' in from either wall.
  15. and the Klipsch speakers. The subs are not for my main system. Those are going on my main floor and my upstairs 5.1 system. The sub for my main system is going to be a Jamesloudspeaker Cinema 15 which hasn't arrived yet. The system will be powered by a Marantz SR7005 receiver, which also hasn't arrived yet.
  16. My house is still under construction but I wanted to get everything ordered so that its ready when the house is. First a pic of my Home Theater room under construction. The room is 16' x 15' x 9' in a basement. I sound proofed the ceiling with drywall strapping & Roxul Sound Proof Insulation. All the wiring is 14/4 Monster in-wall THX certified wire. A big thanks to www.pinnaclehometech.com for supplying me with everything!
  17. If you compare 2 subs by the same manufacturer typically the 15 will be a larger, more powerful, more expensive version of the 12. It will have a larger amp and more cone area and will be "more powerful and deeper" than it's lesser counterpart. You need to compare specs of different brands. Some manufacturers 12's will handily outperform other manufacturers 15's. You can't just look at the size of the driver to determine if one sub is better than another. There's a lot more that goes into the equation. Exactly! So I've demoed some very high end brands, Paradigm, Velodyne, B&W, Sunfire, etc. None of the 12's have impressed me. My HT system is all Klipsch, it would be great to timber match with a Klipsch sub, but unfortunately at 15" sub is not available.
  18. Explain to me then why every sub I have demoed in both the 12" and 15" version, the 15 always sounds more powerful/deeper?
  19. Explain to me then why every sub I have demoed in both the 12" and 15" version, the 15 always sounds more powerful/deeper?
  20. I'm looking for a more deep rich sound that a 12" sub simply cannot produce like a 15 can. Their cinema products are for industrial applications, I'm wanting something for my home.
  21. I really hope Klipsch decides to make a 15" subwoofer. I honestly believe it would sell better then anything they currently sell. I would love to see a sealed 15" 1000watt RMS powered sub. I would buy one instantly.
  22. Would anyone else like to see Klipsch produce a 15" sealed and ported option sub? I absolutley love their line-up of freestanding and surround speakers, but I really wish they had more to offer in their subwoofer category.
