  1. Congratulation on the 7II system.... and yes it is big at first but like another mention it eventually loose some weight over time.

You are ahead of me on the amp and the subwoofer. Anyway, enjoy your new system and always have fun cause I always enjoy mine

even thought I currently don't have the surround RS-52II up yet due to reason on how to run the wire also because of my house

    build structure.

  2. Hi Folks,

Sorry for the long awaited update.

I need time to play with the speakers and system. Unfortunately, I still haven't mount the RS52-II surround sound yet since I have not yet make way for it. Hopefully when I get my vacation during the end of this month. Anyway, I did setup the speaker LCR and run them with Denon X-4000, Oh my, now my living is a theater place. I still trying to fine some good CD/DVD music to test them out and hopefully soon but they sound not bad using slacker stream through my Sony Blu-ray player. I try all from symphony, country, classical, and some other play medium to low volume and they sound great. For movie, they are great, but I could use a sub for the super low sound, I don't have a sub now, not yet. Anyway, the picture is here. I know some of you might suggest to move the speaker out a little, but this is the farthest I could stick out the speaker because as you all know they are quite big when I set them up, I did toe them in a little and they are so far sound great for me. Oh, also, the TV is a little slant because I had some help from my little girls when I mount them and forgot to check the balance, oh well... What done is done. Too lazy to remove and adjust.

Question: Do I need to keep the speaker box for warranty?

  3. Hi folk,

I notice that rc-64ii have 6 rubber feet to mount under the speaker, does anyone use it. I put my rc-64ii onto flat glass surface on TV stand. will the have any problem with the cherry wood veneer? Should I just put on those 6 rubber feet to prevent any damage that could potentially arise? Also with those 6 rubber on, I can grab the speaker much easier. Just want opinion first before I decide to proceed with putting it on. Bye folks!

  4. That is a dream theater to me Michael, and you are one awesome hardcore theater guy there :D

You could be my idol B) The only way for me to have that type of theater is a bigger house

which is also a dream to have :( I'll never let my dream die, who know it could come true one day.

  5. I understand your pain there Youthman... I remember I had my surgery remove the appendix 2 months before my first daughter birth, man I was in the hospital for a weeks because it was already explore like a dynamite scatter inside of me. Lucky for me I went to the emergency early enough and the appendix was recently burst so the surgeon take a few hours to clean up the mess inside my body otherwise I won't be the new owner of my new RF-7II system ;) Anyway get well soon and post here.

  6. Good morning folks,

I will definitely take and keep your advice and will need a 2nd person to help me unbox and flipping the speaker just to be on the safe side. I don't want dent or scratch on my new baby. Also I will share my first impression once I install everything and up running. I already have a TV stand but the RC-64II will not fit the second shelf so I must put it on the top where my TV is and mount the TV on the wall if I decide to mount it. Still do some research whether to buy TV stand or wall mount and want to order them today so that I can get them early in the week. My hand are getting very itchy folks but I need to control them and take one step at a time. Take care folks.

  7. Hi Reference_Head,

I did think about that path but I like thing new and I can wait for now while saving the

fund for that piece of toy.

Oh forgot, I wanted to thanks you for most of you recommended www.acousticsounddesign.com

cause that is where I purchase the RF-7II system from and Michael did take good care of the shipment

to me as I receive the package yesterday pretty much on time that he mention. So I do recommend

Michael to other who plan to purchase the speakers system. Great guy!

    Take care folksss

  8. DTel, I am planning to put where the speakers will be and how I wire them... A little bit holding me back

now is should I mount the TV on the wall or buy the TV stand and mount them. Mount them on the wall is some

what cheaper option but I also like to put them on the TV stand cause I don't want to poke to many

hole on the wall that I might make mistake since I don't have tool for it. Maybe TV stand is a better

option for me... Still undecided for the time being, I probably need to go windows shopping first.

Too many thing too decide with this new toy huh, and excited too. Like most of you

I wanted to do everything myself so that I know more about my system and it setting rather

than let other do it for me, there is no fun in it right? :)

  9. Hi Scrappydue,

I sure do want cherry sub to match with my new RF-7II system. SVS SB13-Ultra have dimension that I

wanted fit where I plan it to be. The PB13-Ultra is a monster, it will stick out too much for the location

that I want to put the SUB, so SB13-Ultra is the biggest dimension I can get, not bigger, again must

make the wife HAPPY. Yeah... I just check SVS website and no option for other color that I want.

Well, I guess I can be happy with that as long as the sound is great. I need to save money now

to get the sub in November or December of this year.

  10. Schu, it only a computer speaker system and it is 2.1 yeah. But it too tiny

compare to SVS SB13-Ultra that I am aiming for. I can live with the PC speakers for a while.

Like I say, I didn't have much sleep at night I and wake up early too.

man, I need my receiver and the speakers wire FAST !!!!

The speakers were laughing at me each time I go to the garage looking at them

in the box !!! What should I do ?
