Hey all..I work at Costco, and no, they are not by the frozen foods. And, yes, they are 299 a piece!!! Remember, although Costco's return policy is among the best in the business, they have been tightening it up a bit. Generally, not a problem, as long as you are reasonable. They are in alot of stores here in Oregon, so save yourself some shipping. Im sure the guys at magnolia HiFi are pissed LOL

Am I stupid, or, if I have a chance to buy a NEW pair of KLF 10s for less than 350 bucks, should I do it?? Ive been looking for a pair of towers to use in my HT, but I also listen to music alot too...No specific kinds, just alot of different things. I see many people use them in their HT system. Any problem with the lack of mag sheilding?? Thanks for all the imput!!

Boa, I do have an SC1 center, as well as Klipsch surrounds. I guess I dont want to miss a good buying opportunity for what seems to be an excellent speaker, shielded or not!!! Did ya get the bucking magnets from Klipsch?? Hard to install other than the bad smell of the epoxy? What the heck are they anyway, and how do they work?? Thanks for the info!!

I can purchase a pair of KLF-10s brand new, dirt cheap etc. and have been thinking about a possible purchase of either RF3s or RB5s as an option. They will be my front mains as part of a HT system (all klipsch now!!!) I understand that they are not video shielded, but with a fix from a Klipsch tech, I might be able to get around that problem. A future purchase will be a Sony XBR, likely Hi Def 36incher. Will the non shielded speakers be a problem?? I have listened to all three and am satisfied with the sound of all of them!! Can ANYONE help me spend some money wisely??? Any advice will be well appreciated, esp from those who own or have just gone thru the same dillema Which one of the three speakers would get your vote??Thanks in advance!!!!
