  1. I am having the problem with the blown fuses on the ProMedia 2.1 woofer. I am trying to get a look inside but cannot open the back panel. I have taken off the 8 screws around the outside of the panel but it will not come off. I have tried to pry it off but it will not come off. Is there some secret or do all the screws need to be removed? Any idea what the cost is for a new internal electronics.
  2. The sub using 2 amo means 2 amp?. You said the channels take 2.5 amp. Are these the fuses inside the woofer?
  3. Looking at the post here, it seems to be a recurrent problem. The problem started with the DIN plug ( the one that attaches to the back ? ) broke. The pins that attach broke off. We got a new control pod and then discovered the fuse was blown. I got a new fuse. I could not find what amp it was. Tried .5 first, then found a 2 amp and they both blew. I am assuming they are slow blow fuses too. Questions. What amp do I need on the fuses ( 2TA 250 v ). There appears to be fuses inside the woofer too. I have not looked there yet. Are they easy access and what type of fuse is needed? Thanks
