  1. Hello I know you guys must get tired of getting spammed with are my headphones fake threads, but i have looked everywhere and i think i may have a fake earphones, but most of the indicators of the fake earphones have been fixed and so they look very real. I just wanted to know your opinions... weather they are infact fact, and if so to warn others about how some of the indicators for fakes may have been fixed by the companies making them. Why i think its fake... The metal tin has the 'V' sign that end on the right under the 2nd half of the 'h' of klipsch... rather than in the space in the middle of the h. The tin has also been brushed vertically and i have read about the real ones being brushed horizontally. I need to find a magnet to confirm weather it is in fact metal or aluminum (i will let you guys know later) and so it looks like the one on the left in this image http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/830/dscn4189.jpg/ I have also read about the tin staying in place if you open it at an angle past 90*. If you open mine to about 135* or more it will fall open suddenly. but stays in place if you open it less than 135* The word image on the box doesn't stand out very much The part where the rubber earpiece locks onto on the stem is smooth and rounded edge, where i have read it should have sharp corners? Indicators of it being real... The logo on the side does not seem to rub off very easily Closely looking into the port of headphones with torch, mine looks like the metal grill people say it should have i can see 3 holes in the grill with the y shaped metal thing in the centre. The V at the back of the head phone looks quite thin and out of the two in this picture http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/151/dscn4191w.jpg/ ... i would say it looks more like the one on the right but i cant say for definite. Other info... Sound quality... is ok not completely wow'ed... nice bass and power but lacks that feeling that the acoustics are being played infront of me in real life, that you may get with some expensive sound systems. 4 tips (3 + 1 on the earphones) ear piece cleaner the item was sent from china i was unaware i was buying from china Came in the blue box although i wasn't too impressed with the quality of the box, the part where it says s4 was a bit shoddy with it not being completely white. Bar code numbers: 101047109346886 & 7 4387802129 5 instructions are on mildly shinny paper. not very. has an L-shaped plug. Replacement heads heads came in a little bag with a push to seal bit at the top and i think i read it should just be loose in the tin box? So what do you guys think? im thinking fake... and so think people should be aware that your earphones could be fake even though they seem very real. Thanks Sam
