  1. I agree with teaman. I’ll just add that the RB81’s are pretty large speakers. If you have the room for them, they’re great. If you haven’t seen them in person check the specs.

I have 7 RF7II’s for surround and I’ve been playing with downsizing them. RS62’s are nice, but hard to find. The RS52’s pop up quite often and for good prices. They don’t give up much to the RS62, and they’ll hang nicely on a wall. Good luck with your system. I think you’ll be happy whichever you choose.

Yeah I noticed that too. I sent him a message for clarification.

Would these surrounds be better/advantageous to use than say a floor standing speaker(RF82II) for surrounds?

It would really depend on your room and placement of the speakers. If you could describe your layout or post a picture or drawing of your setup. We could help with what would work best for your needs.

  3. I agree, it’s a very misleading ad. I noticed it said RS62 II and they were the version 1’s. Because it said speakers, you’d think it’s a pair. I’d definitely message the seller for clarification if there’s any interest. Maybe not a deal at all.

Happened by this thread, as a friend recommended this preamp and this is the most recent posting on Google for the Perreaux.  Is it too late, or are you still selling it?  What tubes are used in this?  Thanks.

I’m not the seller, considering it’s been over a year, I don’t know if you’ll get a response. I’m not sure you’re looking at the right preamp. These are solid state, no tubes. Quick google search turns up quite a few current listings.

  5. That’s a bit much lol these people too lazy to separate that much equipment have to realize any real buyer is going to look for a hefty discount. Many years ago I bought a big McIntosh and B&W system. Not quite as big, but after it sat for months I threw an offer at the guy and he took it. I sold off most of it and ended up keeping the stuff I got very cheap. That said I would not do it again lol it was a lot of work and stressed me out. However... if a bunch of us go in on it

    Which airport?

They are bluetooth, see if you can connect to one and play what you want.

Those are phantom silvers, so $2400 ea retail.

It was Newark NJ. Sorry for the delayed response. Was out of the country.

Please share your opinions when you do.

I’m sitting at the airport when I look up and see this devialet speakers EVERYWHERE! I’m blown away. They’re in every store above every bar, kiosk, etc. Hundreds of them. Sadly none of them are even playing any music lol
